Jesus in the Old Testament
When we study the Old Testament, we find what are called
types
that are fulfilled in the coming of the Messiah. In these types, there is a correspondence between people, events or rituals of the Old Testament and Jesus Christ. For instance, the Passover was a foreshadow or type of the blood of the Lamb of God who would take away our sin and free us from bondage, who's covering would spare us from judgment, and who's mark separates and distinguishes us from the world...

The Book of Revelation and Bible Prophecy
Prophecies are being fulfilled before our eyes as the world moves swiftly toward the end. You've heard the news and the talk: European Union. Implant microchips. One world currency. What does it all mean? During the Seven Year Tribulation period, there will be tremendous suffering. "For then shall be great tribulation," Jesus said, "such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be." (Matthew 24:21). The disciples asked Him, "Master, but when shall these things be? And what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?"...

Cu
rrent evangelicalism has (to change the figure) laid the altar and divided the sacrifice into parts, but now seems satisfied to count the stones and rearrange the pieces with never a care that there is not a sign of fire upon the top of lofty Carmel. But God be thanked that there are a few who care. They are those who, while they love the altar and delight in the sacrifice, are yet unable to reconcile themselves to the continued absence of fire. They desire God above all. They are athirst to taste for themselves the "piercing sweetness" of the love of Christ about Whom all the holy prophets did write and the psalmists did sing.

Lord or Liar?
Jesus Christ.
Some say He was just a great teacher or prophet. Others say He was a good man that done good things. Some claim that He was a liar or a lunatic. And down through the ages, millions have worshiped Him as their risen Lord and Savior. Whatever you think of Him, I'm sure you would agree that He stands alone at the center of human history.
The resurrection of Jesus is what separates Christianity from other religions around the world. In fact, the validity of the Bible and Jesus' teachings hinges on this one central fact. If there was no resurrection, then Jesus was just another man, and we have no real hope after the grave. But if it is true, then Jesus was not a liar, His claims are true, and we must accept Him as Lord, and receive His free gift of mercy and forgiveness."
